Sometimes great cooking can be painfully simple. Chef’s sometimes want to complicate things because they think they can find the “right way” to prepare a dish. The truth is that there isn’t really a right way to a lot of cooking.
It’s said that Prego started off with investing a lot of money trying to discover the perfect sauce. They created recipe after recipe and used taste tests to try to understand what the perfect sauce would consist of. After a long time all their data supplied them with a simple answer.
There is not perfect sauce.
Perfection came in diversity, building different sauces for different people. The perfect sauce is whichever sauce fits the person in front of it.
The kitchen supplies chef’s with a lot of tools and it is with that preface that we bring a very good, cheap and all too simple recipe to the table. Winger’s wing sauce.
We’ve talked a lot about BBQ smoking and very little about sauce.
This winger’s sauce is very good and can be thrown together in about a minute. It’s great for chicken sandwiches, wings and even veggies.
The recipe is so simple it’s silly but it’s great. Try it, the worst anyone can loose is a few minutes of time
