Now that winter’s on the wing and warm weather is settling in, everyone wants to be outside as much as possible. Consequently, the parks and trails get crowded on the weekends as people enjoy biking, hiking, camping and picnics. But the setting sun doesn’t mean you have to go back inside. With outdoor movies you can still enjoy the outdoors while you unwind and recover from such a full day of activity.
At night, nature creates a completely different setting to enjoy. Cool dark skies glitter with stars and the soft hum of insects is the loudest noise you’ll hear. With the expansive area available in back yards, fields and parks, you can get a lot of friends together to enjoy an outdoor movie. Even though there isn’t a lot of talking taking place during a movie, it always seems like movies are more enjoyable when they are viewed by larger groups of people.

Music really does affect our emotions, our physical well-being and our mental capacity. Don’t believe me? Then I would tell you to conduct a little experiment. Just try watching the next scary movie you rent on mute and you’ll see what I mean. The mood music really does a lot of the work to get you all psyched-out. For me, eerie music even makes my muscles tense up.
Music can do more than make us tense though. If it can swing your emotions one way, then why not the other? Fortunately, it does work both ways. Consequently, more and more people are discovering the benefits of relaxation music. A few of the benefits include the ability to sleep, think, relax and even heal better than you could before. As unbelievable as it sounds, these are not outlandish claims. Hundreds or doctors and scientists have tested the effects that music produces and found that it can make a big different in physical, mental and emotional well-being.

I grew up loving water and sun. Maybe that is partly due to the fact that water skiing, swimming and kayaking are important summer activities in my family and maybe it just has to do with the fact that most everybody I know loves sunshine. In fact, as humans we need it. We aren’t as dependent on the sun as plants, but without enough exposure to the sun we wouldn’t get enough vitamin D in our systems.
